Arrival at the Catania airport on Meet your driver upon exiting customs/baggage claim and transfer to Taormina Arrival in Taormina center at Hotel (2 nights and 3 days)

Evening: From your hotel make your way to the pedestrian only Corso Umberto just at the time of evening passigiata. Arrive at the expansive Piazza Aprile IX, the“balcony to the world” with wonderful views of the beautiful coast and snow capped Mt. 2° day

Morning 9:00 am meet your driver and local guide, at your hotel for your departure to the “Godfather Towns”, the towns where the Godfather film was shot

Start at the medieval village of Castelmola, high above Taormina, complete with spectacular views. Wind your way through the maze of streets and charming piazzas. Behind the town is a nice walk to Mount Tauro and to the remains of the castle

Arrive in the town of Savoca, a small sleepy town at the foothills of San Peloritiani. You may decide to have a Lemon Granita at Vitelli bar, the place Francis Ford Coppola frequented. Continue to the Church of Santa Lucia, where Michael and Apollonia were married.

Afternoon: From Savoca continue with a scenic drive to the town of Forza d’Agro. With dramatic views from every direction, the town maintains its medieval layout that has carried it through the ages. Various scenes from the film were shot in town including Vito’s hiding and Michael’s’ first visit to Sicily

Evening: Return to Taormina

3° day:

Morning: Perhaps a morning walk through Giardini Pubblici, Taormina’s lovely public park. Close to your hotel is the entrance to a park full of interesting architectural follies and rare plants, making this your quiet retreat from the bustling Corso Umberto.

Afternoon: 2:00 pm meet your local guide, at your hotel to begin your walking tour of Taormina. Start at the Greek Theater. One of the most dramatic settings you’ll ever experience, the Hellenistic theater was built in the 3rd century BC and later enlarged by the Romans. Today various performances and concerts can be enjoyed under the stars with the Giardini Naxos coast and Mount Etna in clear view. From the theater, continue to Palazzo Corvaja, 10th-century palace that is mostly known for housing the Sicilian Parliament, who met in 1411. Today the lovey space showcases various sculptures and a secluded courtyard. Finish your tour at Taormina’s beautiful Piazza Nuovo Aprile.

Stroll to the expansive Piazza Archimede, one of Italy’s most beautiful squares, highlighted by the Artemis Fountain. Continue to Via Vittorio Veneto, the main artery of Spanish Siracusa lined with Baroque palaces.
